The surroundings of the Hausergut offer fantastic walks not only in the summer but also in the winter. The “Waalwege”, the paths along the ancient irrigation channels, are popular with young and old alike. The pleasantly soft forest floor under your feet makes them particularly pleasant to walk. In the lower and higher mountains around Schluderns, fascinating mountain tours are waiting for experienced hikers, climbing pros as well as beginners.
Our tip for you: Not far from the Hausergut you reach the Natura 2000 biotope Schludernser Au. With an area of over 250 acres, it is the largest floodplain forest area in South Tyrol. Various plant and animal species find their habitat here. It is a natural paradise that you must discover on a two-hour hike.
